TEXDECON. Apoyo europeo al modelo de control de plagas del mosquito tigre

La propuesta tecnológica impulsada por DESINOPE para el control del mosquito tigre recibe el impulso de la Unión Europea por su alto impacto e interés social y medioambiental.

Las empresas participantes en la iniciativa son TexAlive Technologies S.L. y ES Creatividad Innovación y Desarrollo S.L.U. Sólo 15 iniciativas van a ser impulsadas por la Unión Europea, a través del programa ELIIT y con cofinanciación del programa COSME de la UE.

DESINOPE en eCalzatic 2020

DESINOPE ha aportado sus casos de éxito y experiencia en la implantación de tecnologías avanzadas en empresas del sector calzado, en el I Encuentro Nacional Online de Calzado, organizado por AVECAL y FICCVAL, y con la colaboración de la Consellería de Economía Sostenible, Sectores Productivos, Comercio y Trabajo de la GV, y de la empresa CLAVEi.

En su ponencia, Enrique Montiel ha realizado un recorrido por la tecnología que se usaba en el pasado, la que se está usando actualmente y la que se estima que se usará en el futuro, analizando varios casos en los que DESINOPE ha contribuido a que las empresas de calzado se apoyaran en la tecnología para desarrollar con éxito su negocio.

DESINOPE patenta un dispositivo para luchar contra las plagas de mosquitos

DESINOPE ha patentado, junto a las empresas QUIMERA BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS y ESALTIA, un modelo de utilidad de un innovador dispositivo dispensador, válido tanto para el uso por particulares como por profesionales, para acabar con las plagas de mosquitos que asolan numerosas regiones de España.

 

Este dispositivo permitirá actuar de forma preventiva en zonas de alta incidencia de mosquitos, como por ejemplo el litoral mediterráneo, estando especialmente indicado en la contención de especies invasoras como el mosquito tigre.

La UA y DESINOPE seleccionados en los proyectos singulares contra el COVID-19

El equipo del catedrático de Ingeniería Química Dr. Antonio Marcilla, de la Universidad de Alicante, y DESINOPE van a desarrollar conjuntamente una solución de protección individual dentro del programa de proyectos singulares de lucha contra la pandemia del COVID-19.

Nuestro proyecto es uno de los 41 proyectos seleccionados por la Generalitat Valenciana de los más de 250 que se presentaron con ideas innovadoras para la lucha contra la pandemia de COVID-19.

DESINOPE y EUROFINS han acogido una Jornada Técnica internacional para la colaboración en diversos apartados técnicos relativos tanto a la producción como al análisis de laboratorio y certificación, con una representación de la industria textil peruana.

Programa de intercambio de la Asamblea de las Regiones Europeas

DESINOPE participa en el programa de intercambio de la Asamblea de las Regiones Europeas, incorporando a Jean Luc Kambirigi como “Project Assistant", durante el periodo de noviembre de 2019 a marzo de 2020.

 

En el ámbito de la iniciativa EURODISSEY del programa de intercambio de la Asamblea de las Regiones de Europa, esta acción ha sido subvencionada por el Programa Operativo 2014-2020 del Fondo Social Europeo a través de la Conselleria d’Hisenda i Model Económic de la Generalitat Valenciana.

Moda sostenible en la Industria del Calzado

El 3 de octubre se celebró en Elche un evento técnico, organizado por AVECAL y DESINOPE, dirigido a directivos de empresas de Moda-Calzado, con el objetivo de dar a conocer el camino necesario para lograr una moda más sostenible desde el punto de vista medioambiental, a través de ejemplos de empresas que ya han iniciado este camino.

 

El evento contó con las presentaciones de ATEVAL, HILATURAS FERRÉ, VESICA PISCIS FOOTWEAR, KEN ADHESIVOS y EUROFINS.

MOIRA invierte 40 millones en GreenE

Moira Capital Parterns ha invertido 40 millones de Euros en la empresa GreenE, operadora de plantas de valorización de residuos por gasificación con tecnología propia. Con esta inversión, tiene previsto financiar un plan de negocio que incluye la construcción y puesta en marcha de 100 plantas de eliminación y valorización de residuos en los próximos diez años.

GreenE, cliente de DESINOPE en numerosos proyectores de investigación tanto a nivel nacional como internacional (CDTI, LIFE, SME Instrument, I+D H2020), fue fundada en 2011 y ha desarrollado una tecnología única capaz de poner en valor cualquier tipo de residuo orgánico incluyendo residuos sólidos urbanos, industriales, biomasa y lodos, obteniendo a partir de ellos productos de alto valor añadido como gas renovable, energía, biocombustibles y metanol.

Laboratorio de Desarrollo de Producto

Ya está en marcha el Laboratorio de Desarrollo de Producto fruto de la colaboración entre PAREDES y DESINOPE.

Las nuevas instalaciones constan de diferentes áreas en las que se evaluarán los desarrollos de nuevos productos de la empresa fabricante de calzado PAREDES: evaluación de comportamiento físico, evaluación biomecánica, y seguimiento y control de calidad.

Retorno de inversión

Durante el primer semestre del año 2.019, los proyectos industriales de robótica y tecnologías de producción avanzadas, desarrollados en la Comunidad Valenciana con la colaboración de DESINOPE, han obtenido un retorno de inversión en equipamiento productivo por valor superior a 375.000 euros.

DESINOPE has presented the conference “Hydrothermal carbonization of disposable diapers” in the session dedicated to “Innovative applications of HTC-technology” at the International Symposium on Hydrothermal Carbonization 2019 that took place from the 14th to the 16th of May in Berlin.

Culmina con éxito el primer hito del proyecto DETRos

DESINOPE ha finalizado con éxito la primera fase de desarrollo del proyecto “DETRos – Equipo de tratamiento de residuos”. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo la valorización de residuos orgánicos mediante un proceso pirolítico desarrollado por DESINOPE, basado en un sistema combinado de dos reactores, estudiando el aumento del rendimiento en la degradación de residuos cárnicos por tratamiento con hidrolicuefacción térmica (HTL).

 

El proyecto DETRos se inició en febrero de 2018, en Alicante (Elche y Elda), y finalizará en diciembre de 2019, contando con un presupuesto de 266.772€ cofinanciado por CDTI y FEDER (Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional).

DESINOPE and the University of Alicante consolidate their collaboration for the training of doctors

DESINOPE and the University of Alicante have consolidated a collaboration agreement for the next three years, to give continuity to the developments of DESINOPE in the area of “Waste Valorization” and its industrial applications.

 

Both parties have committed to promote the training of doctors, during this period, in the related knowledge areas.

DESINOPE at CES Las Vegas

At the beginning of January, DESINOPE attended the international fair CES 2018 at Las Vegas (USA), the world’s gathering place for the business of consumer technologies, having productive meetings with plenty of business leaders and pioneering thinkers who presented hundreds of breakthrough technologies and next-generation innovations, looking to be introduced to the marketplace.

Even considering the endless number of novel technologies showed at CES 2018 (4,000 exhibiting companies), this has been the year of the voice assistants, with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa emerging as clear winners. At the image on the left, Gummi Hafsteinsson (Google’s Product Management Director) explains how AI and voice assistant technologies are making our smart products even smarter.

Participating in the MCPC 2017

We have been in Aachen, presenting a conference at the session “MCP for Apparel and Textiles” of the 2017 Mass Customization & Personalization Conference, and authoring one of the articles of the Congress proceeding’s book.

MCPC is a biannual international conference where converge researchers and business leaders to discuss the future of customized consumer goods. This edition of the conference was focused on the topic “Customization 4.0 - Elevating mass customization to a new level”, with presentations made by industry leaders as Philips, Adidas, or Ford Motor, and by influential authors, like Joseph Pine, and renowned researchers, like Frank T. Piller.

One of the most important conclusions of the Congress was the unstoppable rise of personalization as an integral part of the consumer goods business, massively demanded by the clients but still with many issues to resolve, especially in relation to manufacturing processes.

DESINOPE at the inauguration of EUROFINS Elche

DESINOPE was invited to the inauguration of the facilities of EUROFINS in Elche’s Business Park.

As active participants in laboratory activities, both in terms of technical advice and training, as well as in the installation or provision of services from units such as the Material Innovation Lab, DESINOPE welcomes the opening of EUROFINS facilities in Torrellano (Elche), thus enhancing the capacities of the industrial sector of consumer goods (footwear, textile, etc.).

As international laboratory leaders, with more than 350 laboratories in 41 countries, EUROFINS will offer in Elche chemical testing, physic-mechanical testing, supplier inspection, social factory audits and regulatory services.

DESINOPE provides technical expertise to Latin American fashion sector

During the end of September and the beginning of October, DESINOPE has started the installation of footwear, leather and textile Test Laboratories in different countries of South America.

The technicians from DESINOPE have put their experience to attend the requirements of the fashion sector in Latin America, providing technical assistance for the assembly of laboratories, supervising its operation in accordance to international metrology standards, as well as providing specialized training.

Cooperation with the University of Alicante

DESINOPE has signed a Cooperation Agreement with the University of Alicante (UA), with the aim of enabling the students of UA to carry out external formative practices, curricular or extracurricular, in our company.

Thanks to this agreement, DESINOPE will be able to offer internships for students of any of the UA degrees, thus allowing the students to have a first contact with the business reality, experiencing firsthand what is the process that makes it possible to turn scientific or technical knowledge into a profitable market-ready product or service.

Seal of Excellence for LYTEX

​DESINOPE’s project “Sustainable use of ligno-cellulosic waste in textile applications (LYTEX)”, submitted under the Horizon 2020’s SME instrument Call in the “SMEInst-07-2016-2017: stimulating the innovation potential of SMEs for sustainable and competitive agriculture, forestry, agri-food and bio-based sectors”, was scored as a high-quality project proposal in a highly competitive evaluation process, and recommended for funding, obtaining EU Commission “Seal of Excellence”.

 

DESINOPE, to obtain a 100% bio-based material for the textile and footwear industry, has developed with a German partner, an innovative process to obtain a green treatment of the paper industry waste transforming the lignin slurry into a 100% capable material to be processed with plastic behavior and excellent mechanical and physical properties.

Improving footwear sizing algorithm

We are close to start our summer data collection campaign, to collect enough data to be able to feed, test and improve our novel development of an automatic sizing algorithm for a Spanish footwear manufacturer, who intent to use it to minimize their rejections of online sales due to incorrectly sizing.

We will scan feet with different technologies (fixed and mobile), capture geometric and anatomic data, and perform a sizing testing with a substantial number of shoe models and sizes.

Systemic eco-innovative approaches for the Circular Economy

We have joined forces with a manufacturer of Technical Flooring solutions for gyms and leisure areas, applying innovative ICT solutions (Fitness SW and tile-integrated HW: sensing and lighting) to their catalogue of eco-friendly flooring solutions, made of 40% of recycled materials.

We have just been in a Workshop organized by Aachen University in collaboration with ITeC, in Barcelona, to discuss the possibility to incorporate this novel flooring solution in a joint effort to launch a complete solution to enable an implementation of building components as a service, promoting traditional construction sector industries into the Circular Economy.

Fashion design-based consumer goods are looking for new ICT solutions

The design-driven consumer goods represent a substantial part of European economy: the targeted industrial sectors represent a total annual turnover of 500BN €, employing 5 million people in more than 500.000 companies across Europe.

A good indicator of the increasing interest in personalizable items purchase is the fact that more than 35% of online consumers are interested in buying customizable co-design products.

And we are ready to offer a growing set of tools for this emerging market, comprising augmented and virtual reality Apps, co-design SW, and sizing tools. We will be at the end of January, with two of our clients, showing our solutions to other European entrepreneurs in the fashion and design business, our novel tools for e-commerce of design-based consumer goods.
